Consider This…Verbal and Visual Views from Collinwood
This is my own piece of the www, a place where I can share my views and visions of the world around me.
Utilizing my love for the written word and photography I plan to invite you into my space. It is one very similar to the world at large, a few thorns here and there, but a beautiful flower awaiting her day to bloom.
The focus will largely be on views of Cleveland, Ohio my hometown – a place I’ve grown to truly love! Growing up was a joy in this part of the country, but just like most teens I couldn’t wait to leave the nest because EVERYWHERE had to be better than here. For a number of reasons I never left the nest, instead I’ve made a pretty good life for me here and over the years I have become a true cheerleader for not only my town, but the entire region of northeast Ohio!
My love of the written word has been apparent since my youth and led me into careers where language and writing were key. As a preteen I fell for photography and over the years I have dabbled in this art form primarily as the keeper of family memories, but also to enhance my work as a journalist. Over the last three years I have developed a renewed interest, almost to the point of obsession with photography, which I hope to showcase on these pages.
Mixed in you will find book reviews, highlights of my journey in the world of knitting, designs I’m creating and willing to share and a hodgepodge of things I think someone would find interesting.have dabbled in this art form primarily as the keeper of family memories, but also to enhance my work as a journalist. Over the last three years I have developed a renewed interest, almost to the point of obsession with photography, which I hope to showcase on these pages.
Most of all this is a leap of faith! A journey that I would like for you to take with me.
Welcome, and enjoy the ride!
